Description
Windows 10 Pro is the professional edition of Windows 10, with BitLocker drive encryption, Remote Desktop hosting, Hyper-V, Group Policy and domain join. Its final version is 22H2. It runs on older hardware that does not meet the Windows 11 requirements, including PCs without TPM 2.0 and 32-bit systems.
Please read the support status before buying. Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. The consumer Extended Security Updates (ESU) program, which gave home users one extra year of security fixes, ended on October 13, 2026. Organizations can still buy commercial ESU from Microsoft, but home users no longer receive security updates for Windows 10.
Windows 10 Pro still works and can be the right choice in specific cases: an older PC that cannot run Windows 11, a computer that stays offline, or software and hardware that only work with Windows 10. For a PC you use online every day, we recommend Windows 11 Pro if your hardware supports it.
This is a Retail license. It activates one PC at a time and, under Microsoft’s license terms, can be moved to a new PC after removing it from the old one.
